On November 8, 2024, Zhejiang University, Zhejiang University of Technology and the International Consultant Committee of Waste-to-Energy (ICCWtE) successfully held the "8th International Training Workshop on Waste-to-Energy" and the "6th International Symposium on Energy Utilization of Municipal Solid Waste for Sustainable Development of City".

The international forum focused on the sustainable development of waste-to-energy incineration, solid waste thermochemical conversion technology and waste management strategies, and attracted a number of experts to give keynote speeches. The participants actively participated in academic exchanges and spoke highly of the training, believing that China's technology and experience can help promote the sustainable development of the waste disposal industry in their countries.

Since 2016, the nternational Training Workshop on Waste-to-Energy has trained 206 participants from 39 countries, contributing to the internationalization of China's waste-to-energy enterprises and played a positive role in Jointly Building "the Belt and Road".
