Professor Qiu Limin Be Elected as Vice-Chairman of International Cryogenic Engineering Committee (ICEC)

Recently, at the 27th International Cryogenic Engineering Conference & International Cryogenic Materials Conference 2018 (ICEC27-ICMC2018), Professor Qiu Limin was elected as the vice-chairman of ICEC for a 4-year term.

ICEC, established in March 1969, is aimed at promoting the development of worldwide cryoengineering and facilitate information exchange and cooperation by holding international cryogenic engineering conference. The committee consists of 21 members from the academic and industrial community in US,UK, German, France, the Netherlands, Japan, and South Korea. The committee sets 1 chairman and 2 vice-chairmen.

International cryogenic engineering conference sponsored by ICEC is the largest and most influential international conference, which is held every two years in Europe and Asia by turns. The committee decides that, the 28th International Cryogenic Engineering Conference & International Cryogenic Materials Conference (ICEC28-ICMC2020) will be held at Zhejiang University from Aug. 31 to Sep. 4, 2020. Professor Qiu Limin will serve as the chairman for the meeting. In the past, China held the 13^th and the 20^th internation cryogenic engineering conference in 1990 and 2004 respectively.
