The 8th Asian Conference on Applied Superconductivity and Cryogenics (ACASC2015) was held at the international conference center in Zijin Campus during November, 22-25, 2015.
The conference subject is “the application of superconducting and cryogenic technologies”. The conference was jointly organized by Zhejiang University and the Institute of Electrical Engineering of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (IEECAS). And Professor Liming Qiu of Zhejiang University and Professor Liangzhen Lin from the IEECAS both took the chair.
About a total of 150 famous scholars, experts and students in the field of superconductivity and cryogenics from 8 countries and regions attended the conference. Internationally renowned experts and scholars from not only academia, but also industry, and related associations all made great presentations.
The conference took full advantage of the teaching-research-production and built an exchange platform for the application of superconductivity and cryogenics which create an opportunity for the rapid development of superconductivity and cryogenics. The next ACASC will take place in South Korea in 2017.
