Professor Wei Li is elected to American Society of Mechanical Engineers Fellow

In ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) 2013 Heat Transfer Conference, professor Wei Li from College of Energy Engineering Zhejiang University, was elected to the ASME Fellow. ASME is established in 1881, and now developed to an international non-profit education and technology organizaiton with over 300000 members worldwide.

    In ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) 2013 Heat Transfer Conference, professor Wei Li from College of Energy Engineering Zhejiang University, was elected to the ASME Fellow. ASME is established in 1881, and now developed to an international non-profit education and technology organizaiton with over 300000 members worldwide. It is involved in various disciplines, i.e., Machinery, Aviation, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Industry and Systematic Design. In 2013, a total of 166 new fellows were elected, and professor Wei Li was the only Chinses sholar.
    Professor Wei Li was awarded the Bachelor Degree from Xi`an Jiaotong University in 1987, studied in The Pennsylvania State University from 1993, and got the PhD Degree in 1998. In 2006, he came back and worked in China. In the closing cermony as well as the 75th anniversary of ASME Heat Transfer Branch, professor Li sincerely said that: recent years, Zhejiang University has developed well and fast, and I feel very lucky to participate in the progress. I truly felt in the favorable dominant environment in China, overseas returnees can better and faster obtain the international approved achievements.
