        On March 18^th, Dr Bert Rukes who's the CEO of Conventionallsand of Siemens, Dr Mathias Deckers who’s the Director of Steam Turbine Technology Management in Siemens, and Dr ZHAO Zuozhi who’s the operation Manager of Steam Turbine of Siemens came to visit the Energy Engineering Department. Prof. LUO Zhongyang who’s The dean of Energy Engineering Department and Prof. QIU Limin who’s the vice dean of Energy Engineering Department received the guests from Siemens. They had a deeply and all-round discussion with each other about scientific research and teaching.
        Prof. LUO Zhongyang introduced the discpline construction, scientific research, education information of Energy Engineering Department; Dr ZHAO Zuozhi, the operation manager of Steam Turbine of Siemens introduced the latest development in energy field of Siemens. Prof. QIU Limin put forward some suggestions about the cooperation between the department and Siemens. Siemens showed great interest on the research directions of Energy Engineering Department, and expressed their interest to cooperate with our department.
        Meanwhile , the delegation from Siemens gave an introduction on a lecture about Siemens , Steam turbine and so on. The lecture inspired all the teacher and students’ interests. In addition, the delegation from Siemens also visited the State Key Laboratory of Clean Energy Utilization.
