15th Jan, 2012, the annual Cen Kefa Educational Fund Scholarship award ceremony of Zhejiang university is successfully held in Run Run Shaw Hall of Science at Yuquan Campus of Zhejiang University.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Prof. Ni Mingjiang, the committee member of development committee of Zhejiang University, introduced the foundation process of Cen Kefa Education Fund Scholarship. Prof. Yan Jianhua, the member of standing committee of party committee of Zhejiang University, pointed out that the spirit of Academician Cen touched everyone, he hopes all the teachers and students followed the direction of Academician Cen and strive for great tomorrow.
Academician Cen shared his standpoints: one is the patriotism, the other is the importance of linking theory with practice.
Pro. Luo Zhongyang , dean of the Energy Engineering Department introduced the detailed information of appraisal of the Cen Kefa Educational Fund Scholarship. There are 77 students who come from the institute for thermal power engineering obtained this scholarship in 2012.
Academician Cen awarded certificates for every winner. Liang Xiaoye, the student representative, appreciated academician Cen and expressed students will do scientific research with full enthusiasm to repay academician Cen.
