22nd March, 2011, president and vice-president of research and development department of French Air Liquide Group Olivier Delabroy and Philippe Queille paid a friendly visit to the University, president Wei Yang met with our visitors.
They recalled the research cooperation between French Air Liquide and Zhejiang University concerning the area of energy and environment, and both wished for a more prosperous communication between each other based on current cooperation. They also probed into issues on French Air Liquide Group’s establishing a Chinese research center as well as the sources of Zhejiang University’s research funds. Chair of Institute for thermal power engineering, academician Kefa Ceng, Chair of Institute for sustainable energy, Prof. Mingjiang Ni, vice chair of Institute for thermal power engineering, Prof. Junhu Zhou etc, attended the meeting.
