On 17th April, Professor Luo Zhongyang, the dean of Energy Engineering Department and the chief scientist of 973 program, gave a theme report titled as “Energy: the motive power of human development”. The report was held in Zijingang campus , More than 200 students attended.
At the beginning of the report conference, professor Luo expressed his thankfulness to all the attendants. Pro. Luo analyzed the definition of energy, the present situation and prospect of energy, and the sustainable energy. Pro. Luo also introduced the history of Energy Engineering Department, the professional setting of energy engineering department and so on.
